My Other Job
I’m retired but I have several jobs that keep me busy.
I spend most of my day writing manuscripts for books, opinion articles for my other website, The Conservative Alternative, blogposts like this one, or social media posts. Those are the usual tasks that consume my day but I still have another job.

I’m on the board of Love In the Name of Christ of Lewis County and a few days ago, I spoke with many of the area clergy about how our local chapter has been working to rebuild after COVID. This has been a slow task and we still need volunteers, but our chapter is growing.
Love INC is an international organization that works behind the scenes to coordinate individual and family relief efforts and mobilizes local churches to work with those in need to transform lives and communities in the name of Christ.
I believe that the community of generous believers is part of God’s answer to the brokenness we see in our local communities. Our county chapter strives to connect people with area churches and works with the churches to ensure people have groceries, necessary furniture and bedding, needed home repairs, and much more.
